COVID-19 VIRUS UPDATE
GOLF COURSE CLOSED!!!
As of Thursday March 19th at 8pm, the Gilbertsville Golf Club will be closed until further notice. Gov. Wolf has ordered this action with enforcement and removal of licenses for those not in compliance. Hopefully, with the cooperation of all, we can stop the spread of this dangerous virus and get back to enjoying playing the great game of golf soon. Until then, be safe everyone, and help one another. As in the now very appropriate song lyrics of the Grateful Dead, “We will get by. We will survive.” Thank you.
Gilbertsville Golf Club is a privately owned 27-hole public golf course. The original 18 holes (red and white courses) were built in 1967, and designed by John Benicasa. The last nine holes (blue nine) completed in 1997 were designed by Jim Blukoyitch. Located in New Hanover Township amidst the rolling hills of Montgomery County, Gilbertsville Golf Club has established itself as one of the best-maintained golf courses in the area.
The Red & White Courses offer you that traditional look, with small flat greens and tree-lined fairways. While the Blue Course gives you a more modern look, rolling fairways with challenging lies and large undulated greens.
After completion of your round, come inside and watch a sporting event on the big screen television, or sit out on the deck and enjoy the scenic views. The Bar & Grill offers many food specials including sandwiches, burgers, pizza and much more, while also featuring a full service bar.
Gilbertsville Golf Club is located just a “short drive” from Routes 100 and 422 offering you the perfect chance to play one of the area’s premier golf facilities. Come and see what many are calling “the best kept secret in Montgomery County.”
